Located near Union Square. Very cheap rate. Overnight parking is also available.

We stayed at one of fancy hotels in downtown SF but didn't want to pay more than $60 for just one night. Luckily we found this parking structure and it costed us just $20! Walking wasn't too bad. Hills everywhere in SF anyways.

If I visit SF again and I hang out Union Square area, I'll come back to this parking structure again.

Great location for parking if you want to visit downtown SF. First 2 hours were free so that was a great bonus.

This is a very nice parking lot close to Union Square. Parking in general is expensive in downtown SF, but this lot is easy walking distance to major hotels and is likely a bit cheaper too. I parked here like three days in a roll and was able to secure the same space everyday, near J3 in front of the high-speed elevators. Other great things about this lot:

      1. Great lighting, and spacious, wide lanes. Much better than Embarcadero center which is a bit cramped.

      2. There's a human cashier on the ground level to help out in case the pay machines don't work for your card.

      3. Easy access to/from freeways - you can take Stockton or Bush to enter the garage. Leaving, its best to go out the Bush exit.

      4. Relatively safe area to walk around. Lots of pedestrian traffic, with the lot being close to Grand Hyatt and Starbucks. Always felt safe walking back at night.

This used to be my favorite parking garage until last night. I went to the main office to inquire about and pay the lost ticket fee, because I could not find my ticket that I used to get into the garage. Someone who claimed his name was William, who was working from 7PM PST - 8 PM PST on Thursday refused to assist me until he helped to white women who were still parking. I literally was standing at the window waiting to pay and he told me that they had been there first, while I'm watching them figure out how to park.

This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, which is saying a lot since I'm a bay area native. Needless to say I will think twice before parking here again and instead choose to park at any of the other dozens of garages in downtown SF, where I don't have to worry about being treated like a second class citizen because of the color of my skin.

There's a reason why this is the highest rated garage in downtown SF!

      1) It's the best location because, unlike the parking garage right under Union Square, this one is not exactly at the heart of downtown SF so it's easier to get in/out (everything is still walking distance)
      2) The prices are great (better than what all the hotels will charge)
      3) Feels safe (but yes, don't leave your hundred dollar bills and jewelry on the windshield for all to see)

This may be the first time I've reviewed a parking lot. Anyway, this is the place to park your car if you're not lucky enough to find a spot on the street!

I had to go somewhere on Sutter Street and didn't want to pay too much for parking. After driving around for about 10-15 minutes and passing up many expensive parking structures (some structures even charging per half hour!), I stumbled upon this place. I got really lucky and was satisfied with what I paid for.

The rates here aren't that bad. The rate at peak hours (Noon - 3pm) is $3.50 per hour and gets lower with the rate at night (6 pm - Midnight, Midnight - 9am) being $1.00 per hour. These prices are pretty reasonable since finding decent parking in SF is always difficult.

There are 14 floors of parking. I found no difficulty in finding parking as the 10th floor was pretty empty and there were many spots left. This was also during Chinese New Year's so that says a lot about the amount of space this place has.

I parked my car here from 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm on a Saturday. I ended up paying $11.00 total which is pretty much a bargain considering how close it is to downtown SF and Chinatown.

There were many self pay stations as well as cashiers on the street level of the parking structure. I didn't have to wait too long to pay for my parking despite being a really busy day. Also, there were many elevators (I counted 3 on the street level floor) and got to my floor pretty quickly.

The parking structure itself is well-lit at night and all the cars were very visible. Each section of the floors are labeled with a letter to help you when finding your car. There are also many warning signs posted to not leave any valuables visible in your car. Since this structure is in a busy part of SF, make sure your car alarms are working (if you have one) and your doors are locked.

I really like this structure and have no real complaints. Whenever I'm in downtown SF, I'm parking here!

What can I say about this place that isn't already said?

Best Parking Garage for convenience in letting your car sit while traversing all over Downtown SF? Hell yeah.

About to have a business meeting in SOMA? Park here.
Show your family/friends all the usual tourists spots? Park here.
Have a first tinder date, which leads into a quickie? Park here.
Want to hit all the clubs/bars in proximity and entertain poor choices in your life for one night? Park here.

All cars lead to Sutter Stockton Garage, for whatever your needs.

I really like this garage. It's in a prime location in downtown SF - right in the middle of Chinatown & Union Square & it's one of the cheaper ones. I believe it's $3/hour at the peak. It's just a hassle getting there - because if you know SF, you know driving in that area is the worst. But this is my go-to garage when I need parking if ever in the Union Square area!

Tip: Don't forget your ticket when you leave your car because the only pay meters are on the first floor and it sucks if you forget your ticket and have to go back to your car to get it then back to the first floor before you leave (or worst yet if you drive down with your ticket, have to park your car on the side of the pay meters, and get out and pay for it). So bring your ticket with you and pay for it when you get back before you get back into your car!

This parking lot is perfect if you're in Union Square. The location is convenient and the cost to park is reasonable for downtown SF. The express elevators are truly fast and clean.
