MASSACHUSETTS — Welcome to Patch's weekly round up of food and restaurant news in Massachusetts, where we review openings, closings and more in the state's dining scene.
This week, we learned that a fire at the historic Dan'l Webster Inn on Cape Cod has temporarily forced the operation to close food and beverage operations. Still, it could have been much worse for the inn, as a quick response from local firefighters limited the damage, allowing the inn to continue the majority of its operations.
There's also big news in the corporate food world, as Welch's will leave its Concord headquarters for the first time in four decades, moving its new space to Waltham.
