Madison Keys' fiance caught by TV cameras during disgusting act at Wimbledon... as commentator urges: 'Get the camera off him!'

Madison Keys' coach and fiance Bjorn Fratangelo was left red-faced after being caught picking his nose during her fourth-round match at Wimbledon.

As his other half locked horns with Italy's Jasmine Paolini on Sunday afternoon, ESPN's TV cameras turned to Fratangelo in the stands on Court One.

And to the horror of commentator Rennae Stubbs and the thousands of viewers tuning in, the American former tennis player-turned coach was carrying out a disgusting act.

For almost 10 seconds Fratangelo picked his nose with his thumb, while even appearing to flick whatever he managed to find onto the floor at one stage.

'Get the camera off him while he’s picking his nose!' said an outraged Stubbs.

A number of fans also rushed to X to hit out at Fratangelo for his unhygienic antics in the crowd.

'Don’t pick your nose in public particularly when your wife is playing in a match and there’s a decent chance you will be televised,' one wrote.

Another said: 'ESPN cameras zoom in on Bjorn Fratangelo just as he is picking his nose and flicking his findings. This is Wimbledon, sir!'

While a third quoted a famous line from the 1980 movie The Elephant Man and joked: '"Are we not human? If we pick, do we not bleed?! I am not an animal!!!” – Bjorn Fratangelo'.

After losing the first set and rallying back to win a tiebreak in the second, Keys was eventually forced to retire in the crucial third due to injury.

The 29-year-old American took a medical break after appearing to damage her left leg, before conceding that she was unable to continue in the match.

Keys and Fratangelo first met while training at a facility in Boca Raton, Florida, before romance blossomed in 2017.

Six years later the couple got engaged, although a wedding date may not be on the horizon just yet given their busy schedules.

'He actually did it at home,' Keys said about Fratangelo's proposal. 'The day that I got back from Dubai so I was not expecting it at all.

'I was sitting on the couch and he was like, "Hey I have your birthday present." He handed me something and then got down on one knee. Just sitting on the couch so now we have to keep the couch forever.'
