Inside Bill Belichick's wild summer: From a new job and a new girlfriend (49 years his junior!) to roasting Tom Brady and watching Taylor Swift in Europe

Bill Belichick began his 2024 by losing his final game in charge of the New England Patriots.

It wasn't known publicly at the time, but it was confirmed months later that Belichick would be moving on from New England after 24 seasons in charge of the Patriots.

After going through the coaching carousel and coming out on the other side without a job in the NFL, Belichick has now started his own special summer.

Belichick has been enjoying himself recently with his 23-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, spending plenty of time relaxing and 'living his best life'.

With this new woman in his life, Belichick has apparently now realized 'there's more to life than football', according to an insider.

Belichick has been seen in recent weeks on his boat, on a bicycle, and just generally enjoying himself with Hudson on Nantucket as he continues his summer of rest and relaxation.

But he's also made plenty of time for fun as well. Belichick took a trip across the pond to Amsterdam to take in one of Taylor Swift's shows on her 'Eras Tour'.

It's not clear if Hudson joined him, but he did end up meeting with Travis Kelce in a luxury box for the show.

Of course, Belichick isn't staying away from his former Patriots players - or from football.

Earlier in the summer, he put on a fantastic performance at the Netflix special 'The Roast of Tom Brady'.

'There's a lot of mean things being said about Tom tonight, I wonder why they invited me,' Belichick said to laughs during the event.

'Seriously, I'm so honored to be here for the roast of Tom Brady on Netflix... not to be confused with the 10-part Bill Belichick roast during the Apple TV doc.'

That's a reference to 'The Dynasty', an Apple TV documentary that seemed to skew negative in its portrayal of Belichick.

Belichick also took on a very prominent role during Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June.

But now, there's a new future ahead for the coaching icon: television. Belichick, who famously had a frosty relationship with the media at best, is now about to join them as a working member.

Not only does he have a standing invitation to appear on The Manningcast for ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage, but it was just recently announced that Belichick would be taking on a new role as an analyst for Inside the NFL.

Alongside host and Super Bowl-winning safety Ryan Clark, Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Johnson and two-time Super Bowl-winning defensive end Chris Long, Belichick will dissect and break down the biggest talking points in the NFL on the weekly program, which begins on Friday, August 30.

'I'm thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise,' said Belichick.

'I've always appreciated 'Inside the NFL's' depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros – Ryan, Chris and Chad – this coming season.'

But until NFL season officially begins, Belichick will continue to enjoy himself and his new relationship before eventually getting back to work again.
