I was really hoping that this was going to give me *that feeling* where I would giggle, and swoon, and kick my feet but instead I encountered several eye roll moments and literally clenched my fist in annoyance at the amount of times these two bicker - it wasn't fun.
The two main characters are in their 30's but act so immature- if the author wanted to have two characters go back and forth with 'you did this' 'no you did that' and 'make me' non-stop, just write a young adult novel.
And while the author is at it - a cats ass is not remotely attractive. Why would you describe a love interest's mouth in this way ? ...more

She's happy for the most part, going about her daily life - but when she finds an extremely expensive unpaid bill from when her uncle was sick and it could mean potentially losing their home, Cat knows she has to do something to help.
╰┈➤ Noah, our MMC is a billionaire - yes, a billionaire- I really thought I was done with these lol but anyway, he grew up on the island as well but for the majority of the year he lives in NYC. For the time being he's staying at his parent's house on mandatory leave from his job after a panic attack puts the company at risk.
Growing up, the two weren't really in each others lives intimately but they each had crushes on the other in the past. When a random meet cute occurs it sparks life back into the feelings they once had for each other.

Basically a super rich/famous doctor who falls in love (quickly) with the boy from the 'wrong side of the tracks' but not even really... he just doesn't have the kind of money she does.
The fact that this woman didn't know how to sweep a floor or peel a potato and he didn't know how to use Uber was weird but okay.
I found it moderately funny, lol I'm a tough audience and really rom-coms are just not my thing. I actually found a handful of authors that can write good rom-coms since I've written this review. ...more
