I needed my wine cooler unit replaced. I had ordered a replacement unit as I knew the unit was failing. The unit came in but before the factory recommended tech could schedule time the old unit failed.

When our Kitchen Aid dishwasher broke (and the Internet did not provide a solution), I contacted Vitalii and two other business through Yelp to schedule an appointment. Vitalii was the first to respond. When he came out, he suspected a control board issue (this model has two), but since the dishwasher was nearly 14 years old, replacement parts weren't available (except on eBay). By the time we (likely) replaced both control boards, we would have spent the same amount on a new low-end dishwasher, so he suggested buying a new dishwasher as the average lifetime of a dishwasher is 5-7 years. It cost $60 for the visit, but we could apply that toward a new dishwasher installation in the next two weeks for $190 instead of $250.

I ended up buying a Bosch 500 Series dishwasher on Sunday, had it delivered Monday, and scheduled Vitalii to install it on Tuesday. He removed the old dishwasher and installed the new one in about an hour, then tested it to make sure it worked. During testing, he found that the water valve under the sink was partially turned off. However, about 5 minutes after he left, the air gap pipe started to leak water under the sink, so I contacted him through Yelp and he was able to return in a couple of minutes. Turns out there was debris in the pipe leading up to the air gap. He cleared that out and the new dishwasher has been working like a champ ever since.

In summary, Vitalii did a good job of explaining our options to repair vs. replace the dishwasher, and he gave very practical and direct advice. I appreciate his candor, and I will call him again if we have any issues with our appliances.

I threw in my outdoor patio fireplace problem last minute. He discovered that the lighter panel battery at the fireplace needs to get changed out. I am triumphant that he solved what seems like a silly problem we couldn't figure out ourselves.He did not charge me additional for solving that problem but I added some fees for him.

This company was wonderful at diagnosing the problem and saving us money. Ultimately, it was above the price he quoted on the project and he did say it was a DIY fix through YouTube videos, but I realize it's tough to give a quote online without looking at the broken microwave but we will probably hire this company because of their knowledge at repairing many different appliances and recommending what is the best course of action at fixing the many various different appliances we have.
