England's men's team have already made their country proud by reaching the final of the 2024 European Championship, but a victory over Spain could see their future earning potential absolutely skyrocket.

The Three Lions have reached the showpiece spectacle after a dramatic last gasp winner from Ollie Watkins secured a 2-1 victory over Netherlands to book a spot in the Berlin final.

It came after a much improved performance from Gareth Southgate's side, who had somewhat laboured to results against Slovakia and Switzerland in the knockout rounds.

As such, the Three Lions have earned themselves spots in back-to-back finals for the first time in the history of the men's team, while Sarina Wiegman's women's side won Euro 2022 before making the final of the 2023 Women's World Cup

While all 26 of Southgate's stars are on the verge of achieving a childhood dream, they could stand to greatly enhance their earning potential with a victory in Berlin to astronomical proportions.

Winning the final could see a number of players' future earnings potential skyrocket

According to the Sun, a win for England could see the players earn a combined £1billion in commercial deals and endorsements, so huge is the predicted growth in their marketability.

'Winning the Euros would make England close to being a billion-pound team in terms of future earnings,' brands expert Marcel Knobil told the Sun.

Jude Bellingham, who has become one of the most marketable players in the world over the past 12 months, could be set to raise his own profile by some £400million, whose brand presence is predicted to top even David Beckham.

'Jude has all the ingredients to overtake David Beckham's £372m by the end of his career,' Knobil added.

'He could be looking at £50million earnings annually with his Real Madrid salary plus sponsorships and endorsements. That amasses into the hundreds of millions.

'Jude will need the same business acumen and longevity of his playing career as Beckham.

'But he is right at the top of the world game from such a young age and is on a trajectory similar to Ronaldo. He's got everything.'

Experts have also predicted that the likes of Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer and arguably England's star of the tournament so far Bukayo Saka could all earn up to £100m.

The thought is that these players could add an extra £50,000 to their weekly earnings, the likes of Saka, Mainoo, Foden and Palmer then able to earn what amounts to around an extra £25m over the next decade of their still fledgling careers.

As for the manager, Southgate has reportedly pocketed some £2m just for getting the Three Lions into the final.

The Sun reported earlier in the week that he was due to bank some £4m in total should his side lift the trophy, and should the claim prove true, he is seemingly already halfway there.
