Overall Satisfaction with Guru

We use Guru as a place to store any of the information our Go-To-Market org needs - sales talk tracks, rules of engagement, enablement resources, pre-recorded product overviews. It's our source of truth for understanding anything we might need to know in our day-to-day. Anytime our team rolls out any updates, they're shared over Slack or email, but Guru is where it lives as an anytime reference for everyone.

Pros

  • Advises on out-of-date cards that haven't been updated in awhile.
  • Allows for AI search functionality - makes info faster to find.
  • Permits list creation & card favoriting to help keep me organized.
  • Creates pop-out windows so you don't lose your page; can see info side-by-side to save time.

Cons

  • AI search and general search engine functionality is not always accurate.
  • Time-to-load the homepage is quite long. Requires SSO log in every time I want to access, so time to interaction can be a drag.
  • I wish the "recommended videos for you" that live on the homepage had a better algorithm with videos that were more relevant to my role. Better yet, I wish it defaulted to my favorite cards.
  • Time-to-locate resources that I can share with prospects is significantly faster with Guru. The alternative would be searching through old Slack threads, which can be a huge time suck if you don't know exactly what you're looking for.
Search function and AI search are helpful, but they're not always accurate. It also takes a very long time to log into, which can mean that I context-switch in the process and lose track of what I was searching for. Otherwise, it's quite easy to organize the cards I need into list views that make things much easier to find.

Do you think Guru delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Guru's feature set?

Yes

Did Guru live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Guru go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Guru again?

Yes

Guru is great for when I need to access materials and pre-recordings of our product to share with prospects during sales cycles. It keeps things organized and easy to find. Guru is only as helpful as it is up-to-date though, and it seems like it requires a lot of upkeep from our enablement team. It can be hit or miss depending on how much bandwidth they have.
