Really annoyed and disappointed that I'm not enjoying the Nacho Fries we asked our server to pack up for us. I had about 90 percent of it left over and was really looking forward to being alone with my food but when I opened up the takeaway packages, there were only a few fries from my companion's inferior order (Garlic Fries which are too wet and not garlic-y enough though the creamy dip makes them better) and NONE of my barely touched yummy Nacho Fries.

We had the Cauliflower Bites (agree with those who find these good but overly sweet and kind of one dimensional; see the cauliflower at Nuba for an awesome cauliflower appetizer), Meet Burger on kaiser bun with Daiya Cheese subbed with Nacho Fries, and the BBQ & Blues with kaiser bun subbed with Garlic Fries.

The burgers were not bad at all but Loving Hut, Tera V Burger & The Naam have tastier vegan burgers. I've also tried the Portobello Burger with a GF bun option and Hot Chiggin' Things which were OK. The Chiggin' Things were very filling and "meaty" but the buffalo sauce was underwhelming for me because I was comparing them to the ones at Violette's Vegan Eatery (in Vegas) which are amazing and loaded with layers of flavour.

I do love that they have a real gluten-free vegan bun option rather than a collard wrap, for example, but it needs to be really liberally dressed to mitigate the dry denseness of it. The Panne Rizo GF vegan bun that Loving Hut & Tera V use is a lot better but understandably a house made bun is more cost effective. I agree with those who feel the onion rings are just OK as they are overly greasy and one dimensional.

I only had a few bites of my food as I was saving it for when I could be alone and was especially looking forward to chowing down on my Nacho Fries, which were a standout. I have no idea why she didn't pack them and they are what I was most looking forward to. It feels like I got stolen from inadvertently and now have to make alternate lunch plans.

The environment is a much roomier and ventilated The Naam with improved restrooms. The service has been very friendly, attentive, and helpful (other than the missing food snafu). Def. want to try everything else on the menu and will just double check if I ask to pack anything up!

Thoughtful menu with solid vegan options! I like that it's not just so tofu/chickpeas.

Really friendly staff with prompt service. Outdoor seating is nice for summer.

If you're craving a hearty vegan meal for lunch or dinner, this is the place for you. They have multiple locations around Vancouver and serve a wide selection of plant-based alternatives to all of our favorite dishes. What I liked about this place is that someone might not realize it's a vegan restaurant when they visit. Perfect place to bring your non-vegan friends, they won't know what hit them.

Not only do they have a decent lunch/dinner menu, but their drink menu is pretty nice too. We ended up sticking with some yuzu ginger soda since it was lunch. If I came here for dinner, there would be a lot of cocktails I would have liked to try... maybe next time!

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this place. I thought it was cool how they had a VHS TV at the front door playing old movies. While waiting for a couple of friends to show up, I got to watch "Shrek" that was playing on the TV.

I'd been reading about La Poutine Week for a few years now but hadn't gotten around to trying it. We had tried Meet on Main restaurant once and loved it, so when I read that Meet on Main was part of La Poutine Week this year I decided, "This is the year that I will finally try a La Poutine Week poutine!"

My daughter and I are poutine lovers so this was an excellent mother/daughter outing for us. Meet on Main 's offering for La Poutine Week is called "Meet Yr Maker" Poutine. It's a plant based poutine with gravy, cheez shred, mac n cheez, bac'n chunks, buffalo sauce and ranch sauce.

Usually, our daughter just orders a plain, basic poutine wherever she goes. This was the first time she'd tried a fancier poutine with toppings other than gravy and cheese curds. She loved this and so did I! It's a mound of comfort foods packed into one dish, and plant based to boot! Oh Meet on Main , "Please please please add this to your regular menu!!!"

Oh, we also ordered and shared their Nashville Hunny Glazed Mac n Cheez Donuts. Those were heavenly too. Imagine Mac n Cheese, molded into the shape of a donut and finished off with a crunchy panko crust. Also plant based. The Nashville hunny glaze gives an extra kick but honestly, we feel that the Mac n Cheez Donuts taste good already on their own. The hunny glaze is a nice option for those who like a bit of extra spice, but unnecessary for us.

Poutine lover or not, meat lover or not...Meet on Main is a "must try"!

      Service: Good

Spontaneously came in with a friend on a weeknight. Busy, but no wait for a table. Friendly service. Enjoyed a glass of Hoochy Booch kombucha on tap and a Mediterranean burger. I can appreciate that fries and salad are both included with the burger, but the fries did were a little greasy and did nothing for me. To be fair, I'm not a fries person, but I can occasionally be convinced by really good fries. The burger was great though, and the patty was hefty and filling. I was happy with the price I paid ($25, including the drink) for a very filling meal.
I noticed the decor more than I did the last time I was here. Its eclectic and I can see where there are spots in the design that can come across as "crowded", but I like this style, I think it's fun and interesting.

This was the first time to this Meet location. Staff was friendly, no pretentious vibes here. It is very nice to go places where they don't make your partner or yourself feel bad for not ordering more things or drinks in my case!

Lemon Tart - DELICIOUS! Looks more like a Cake Slice to me but the taste more than makes up for any qualms about the naming of this tasty morsel. I'm not usually a big fan of coconut anything but this coconut crust has made me a fan. Lemon game was the right profile of slightly tart but sweet. Overall a great ending to a light meal.

Steak Tostada- Had a bit of a saltier taste profile but but the sour cream taste was quite nice. Steak curls were just a tad too salty for me. I wouldn't let these stay on the table too long next time as the shell can get a doggy from the liquid and moisture. Is the curl itself actually meat? I'm not sure to be honest. I couldn't really tell. All things considered, I don't usually look for a curl of a steak.

Beet Salad - large & feeling. Would have preferred more beets but did it's job and filled up our tummy

Oyster Mushroom Calamari- Probably my least favorite. I'm not sure I prefer mushrooms fried. Worth a gamble.

Nice space to go to enjoy some eats.

I have yet to visit MeeT on Main with a guest who has not left amazed with the "kalamari" or whatever seasonal cocktail is on the menu that month! I could eat here almost every day. Very friendly staff, great ambience, solid serving sizes and value for great vegan food.

Delicious vegan food, awesome vibe, and super friendly staff! I had the Thanksgiving special. There were 2 imitation turkey patties on a fluffy vegan brioche bun with lemon aioli and orange-date jam. I'm not sure if they bake their own bread or where they get it, because I've never had such a perfect vegan brioche! This all came with a side of "stuffing fries" dressed with stuffing, fried brussels sprouts, and more lemon aioli. It was a huge, filling portion for under $20. They make all their own sodas. I had the orange soda which was delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. The cocktails looked really great too! I would definitely come here again if I lived in Vancouver!!

Such a creative menu. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. Their pick ip is really quick too (20-25 mins). I loved the mac n cheese doughnuts, the pasta, and the poutine!

This was the first of our vegan restaurants tour of Main Street. We had the sweet chili cauliflower for appetizer. For the main course, we had the Mighty Mac Burger and Crispy Chickun Burger. Best of the bunch was the sweet chili cauliflower, crispy and sweet. It hits all the right spots. The Mighty Mac Burger was also very good. The Crispy Chickun Burger was okay, crispy but nothing really stood out. I really like that you get half salad and half fries with your order, the best of both worlds.
