Trump was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when at least eight bullets rang out, leaving Trump bleeding from his ear.

And Covington called him the 'toughest man on the face of this earth' after the harrowing incident.

'God bless him and his family right now,' he added on X.

Strickland also said,  'Trump is an utter savage... Man gets shot and still is for his people... Utter savage....'

Additionally, after his fight at Saturday's UFC event, fighter Evan Elder gave a shoutout to Trump.

'Hey. I heard they just tried to whack my boy Trump,' he saod. 'I'm glad that man's okay. Long live Trump. Let's go baby Trump 2024.'

His team said afterwards that he is 'fine,' while the Secret Service confirmed the incident is being investigated as an attempted assassination.

However, it has since been reported that Trump may have been struck by a piece of flying glass from a teleprompter shattered during the shooting.

At least eight bullets were fired in the incident.

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger told reporters the shooter is dead, and that a bystander had also been killed.

Strickland, meanwhile, defended Trump in January after he was found guilty of committing 34 felonies in the state of New York.

'President Trump, you're the man, bro,' he said after beating Paulo Costa.

'It's a damn travesty what they're doing to you. I'll be donating [to] you, my man. Let's get it done.'
