Prior to joining MAD, Josh served as an in-house consultant in the Office of Performance and Analysis, Dakota County, for over seven years. He also has experience with the Department of Health. Josh enjoys the variety in types of projects, methods used, and clients served in his consulting work.
Josh focuses on business process mapping, process improvement and continuous improvement, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and survey design. He enjoys helping clients identify the root causes of problems and co-create solutions and helping them make informed decisions.
Josh’s early projects with MAD have included an assessment for the Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety within the Department of Public Safety; a process mapping and improvement project for the Department of Commerce’s Insurance Division; and a process improvement project for the Department of Transportation.
Josh has a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs and bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and History from Hope College in Michigan. He has a Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from the Executive Education program at the University of St. Thomas.
