The wives and girlfriends of the England team couldn't hide their disappointment as the Three Lions lost to Spain in the Euros yesterday evening.

After Cole Palmer equalised in the second half, Spain then scored a second goal - thereby securing their victory in the European Championship final in Berlin.

Dani Dyer, 27, who shares two daughters with West Ham's Jarrod Bowen, appeared to be fighting back tears as she left the stadium. 

Ollie Watkins' girlfriend Ellie Alderson was seen comforting her partner by placing a hand on his back - after a game that is sure to be disappointing after his semi-final winner. 

Meanwhile Megan Pickford - ever present to support her goalkeeping husband - comforted him by packing on the PDA with a smooch.

A very subdued-looking Jude Bellingham sought comfort from his parents Mark and Denise, as he put on a brave face following England's defeat.  

During the game itself, Tolami Benson - girlfriend of Bukayo Saka - appeared to be scrolling through her phone as the match approached half time in Berlin.

Aine May Kennedy - who is the girlfriend of Conor Gallagher - pulled a rather fed-up expression as she watched on at Olympiastadion. 

Olivia Naylor even posed with her hand on her hip, as she joined the crowds to support John Stones. 

Aaron Ramsdale's wife Georgina went all out with facepaint and an England top - but even she maintained a neutral expression as the game progressed. 

Earlier in the day, the group of wives and girlfriends posed for a group photo, which was posted on Aine May's account, ahead of kick-off.

Aine May - who is the girlfriend of Conor Gallagher - cut a glamorous figure in a pair of jean shorts and her partner's England shorts. 

The 23-year-old posed alongside Ellie Alderson, who is the girlfriend of Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.

The mother-of-two also donned a pair of light denim high-waisted shorts, a cropped England top and white sandals. 

On her on Instagram, Ellie posted a picture of her and Ollie's brother Jordan, who was also a footballer.

Ellie's boyfriend Ollie scored a glorious goal in the 90th minute of England's last match on Wednesday night and was deemed man of the match.

Meanwhile, Dani Dyer looked equally glamorous in a white mini skirt, matching ruched top and a England shirt.

Ahead of the match, Aine also posted several photos on her Instagram stories showing her enjoying cocktails with Dani Dyer and Dean Henderson's girlfriend Millie, who was dressed in white trousers and an England shirt.

Dani posed in another snap with her actor dad Danny, 46, ahead of the game before heading to meet some other WAGS for a few drinks. 

Ellie Alderson has been enjoying supporting her partner Ollie as he plays for England during the Euros this year, after missing out in 2022.

She has been cheering on his name since the pair started dating in 2018 and the couple live together in Birmingham, as Ollie plays for Aston Villa. She is a regular at Villa Park and often follows her boyfriend around to show her support for his career.

Ellie, who is from Berkshire, has a diploma in interior design and has a twin sister, Sofie, who regularly features on her social media.

Elsewhere Ed Sheeran, Kate Beckinsale and Amanda Holden cheered 'it's coming home' ahead of the match earlier in the day.

Ed, who was spotted in the stands at the semi-final, said: 'Everything is coming together at the right point'.

Kate, who was dressed in an England football top, recited a reimagined Lord's Prayer, saying: 'Give this day our jammy win and forgive us for criticising your tactics'

Amanda, who had a large red and white hat on, chanted: 'Come on England!'

Meanwhile, Craig David sang 'we got the Euros in our hands' to the team from his recording studio.
