Sophie Winkleman nails Wimbledon style in a yellow Beulah dress as she heads to final day of tennis at SW19 with husband Lord Frederick Windsor

Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman nailed summer chic today as they headed to the final day of Wimbledon.

The only son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, opted for a classic British summer look in white trousers and black blazer with a pink tie.

Perhaps taking inspiration from his second cousin King Charles, Frederick wore a pinstriped shirt pairing the look together with navy suede loafers.

Meanwhile, Peep show actress Sophie - who is the sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman -  looked radiant in a yellow belted dress.

The £770 Edie Lemon dress comes from British designer Beulah London - a favourite brand of the Princess of Wales

Sophie added the £450 Henely Raffia Tote from Aspinal of London as she got set for a day of tennis.

The royal couple will watch see Spaniard  Carlos Alcaraz take on Novak Djokovic in the Grand Slam final, with both parties hoping to add some silverware to their trophy cabinet.

The couple, who married in 2009, looked to be in great spirits as they posed for photos with their arms around one another.

In January Sophie lifted the lid on her life as a member of the extended royal family in the January issue of Tatler - calling the Windsor clan 'really good friends'.

The actress, who shot to fame as Big Suze in cult British comedy Peep Show, spoke with particular fondness about her relationship with King Charles, praising the monarch for his hard work and calling him a 'very dear friend'.

Sophie, who shares daughters Maud, ten, and Isabella, seven, with Freddie - and is the half-sister of Strictly presenter Claudia, also discussed her 2017 horror car crash, saying she assumed she was in the final moments of her life after the smash, which left medics fearing she may have been paralysed.

The couple were wed in the Chapel Royal at historic Hampton Court Palace 2009.

The actor, who also made a recent cameo in Wonka, said: 'I didn’t know anyone at my wedding. I had my best pals there but basically it was full of faces I’d never seen before.

'My mother- in-law, Princess Michael of Kent, took full personal charge of it all and did it brilliantly, including what dress I was wearing.'

The actor was involved in a car crash in 2017 and told the magazine she assumed she was in her final moments of life.

She was a back-seat passenger in a chauffeur-driven car when another vehicle struck her car after swerving to avoid a deer.

The car she was riding in was dramatically thrown up into the air before crashing down and causing life-threatening injuries.

Freddie's father, Prince Michael, is a first cousin of the late Queen, and the family was brought up in Kensington palace as close neighbours of Princes William and Harry.

Freddie showed academic promise at school, becoming an Oppidan Scholar at Eton College before going on to study Classics at Magdalen College, Oxford, graduating with a 2:1 in 2002.

But there was a time when the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent was known  as a confirmed hedonist.

'He was constantly surrounded by girls, was chucking back vintage Krug and had a fag permanently hanging out of his mouth,' said one observer from his younger days.

At one point, Lord Frederick's parents even made him visit a drugs rehabilitation clinic to warn him about the potential consequences.

But after being caught taking cocaine in his early twenties, Frederick - known as Freddie - vowed to focus on his studies and later married glamorous actress Sophie Winkleman of Peep Show fame.
