The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project 2024 Block Party was held at Universal Studios Backlot in Universal City, California.
Per the event's website, they aim to 'support transformative, locally-led change by partnering with community-based organizations that support young people, their sexual and reproductive health and rights, and gender-based violence prevention.'
Theron, 48, wrote on the site, 'Real lasting change comes from the communities themselves.'
The program has connected with 16 organizations across South Africa, Zambia, and Rwanda, reaching nearly 590,000 young people in the continent.
According to the organization, they gave awarded over $13million in grants to underprivileged students.
The organization was founded in 2007.

Wilson is currently on the Country's Cool Again Tour, which began in late May this year, will continue on in North America through December.
The blonde beauty released her first album in 2014 and has gone on to win a Grammy Award and six Academy of Country Music Awards.
