EXCLUSIVETrump shooting witnesses blame 'crazy' talk after Supreme Court immunity decision for 'evil' attempted assassin's rampage that sent them running for their lives

MAGA fans at Trump's rally in Bulter, Pennsylvania, who survived the shooting detail their harrowing accounts of running for cover as the former president's life flashed before their eyes.

In the opening moments of his campaign speech, a bullet grazed Trump's ear. Eight rounds were fired by a 20-year-old sniper with an 'AR-style' weapon from a nearby building's rooftop, before the assassin - identified as Thomas Crooks - was shot dead by law enforcement.

One attendee was fatally wounded and two more are in critical condition.

Pam, a woman from Michigan, had set up a large display of Trump merchandise just outside the rally venue on Saturday evening.

She heard the gunshots shortly after 6 p.m. local time, telling DailyMail.com: 'All of a sudden you saw the screaming and running people. I'm numb a little bit, how can someone feel the right to do that?'

'It's just evil. They hate Trump ... what such an unholy person,' she continued.

'Right before the convention, it's right after this rhetoric of the Supreme Court with people calling for Biden to use his newfound power of immunity to order the assassination of Trump.'

'There's been so much talk about Trump's assassination in the past two weeks. All that talk just gives crazy people stuff in their head.'

The Supreme Court issued a landmark ruling on July 1, saying the President of the United States has immunity from prosecution for official acts in office.

The ruling has massive implications for presidential powers and the criminal cases against Donald Trump

The case centered on Special Counsel Jack Smith's prosecution of Trump for allegedly masterminding efforts to overthrow the 2020 election while in office, including on January 6.

Greg Smith, owner of Brenckle's Farms & Greenhouses, had set up a private party for his family on his property.

After Trump arrived, Smith and his family made their way to the perimeter to see what they could see.

'Most people ran up to the fence, I stood back by the tree,' he told DailyMail.com.

He then spotted a guy crawling up on the roof of a building.

'I noticed there's a guy crawling up the roof of that building,' he continued. 'I'm like, 'that doesn't seem right.'

He said the man definitely did not look like Secret Service, wearing tan and grey clothes, and was not in uniform.

Spotted police officers running around the building, appearing to be looking for someone.

'I'm pointing at the roof, like, 'Hey man, there's a guy on the roof with a rifle,' he went on.

Law enforcement officers continuing running around the area, as he continued to shout and point at the person.

He pointed directly at the guy so that the Secret Service could see him for one or two minutes.

'I'm thinking to myself, "Why is Trump still speaking on this stage right now? Why is he still up there talking?"

Smith said he watched the guy crawl up the roof and roll around with the rifle and begin shooting.

'I saw Secret Service blow his head off,' he said.

He then ran to collect his wife and three kids and return to safety.

'At this point, I'm feeling, as I think about it more and more, it just feels like a huge security failure to me.'

'This isn't a big place, there's not a lot of buildings around here, why is everything not covered.'

Questioned why there was no one in the water tower that overlooks the whole property, he replied: 'I don't like it man, I don't like what's going on, I don't like what it feels like, I really don't.'
