It's the end of Boys World as we know it.

The Me, My Girls & I group announced on Friday that they're disbanding after 'the most incredible five years' as they thanked their STARS (the term for their fans) in a tearful TikTok video.

'What we're about to say is very hard for us to wrap our heads around,' Olivia Ruby began in the two-and-a-half-minute clip. 'But after five beautiful, unforgettable years, we are disbanding.'

The group stopped several times throughout the video as they choked up on their tears and made each other laugh.

'We've created so many beautiful memories, and we are so grateful for everything we’ve accomplished together,' said Lillian Kay.

'Most of all, we're grateful that it's been with each other,' she added. 'And after everything, we still have each other, and that’s the most important part.'

Makhyli Simpson said, 'So many of our dreams have come true, and we're so blessed and so lucky to have traveled around the country and perform our music.

'And obviously the best part of it all was just being able to meet you guys, the STARS. We love you,' she added.

Queenie Mae Villaluz noted that they 'are filled with many emotions right now. F—, it’s sad. We're all really f—ing sad about this.

'Obviously, for the past five years, it's always just been each other. We have went through so much in this group, and I can't even imagine dealing with everything we went through without these girls. I'm so, so thankful for them.

Villaluz added, 'Change is really, really scary and uncomfortable for not just us, anyone out there. Especially when this has been our whole world for the past five years.

'But we are really excited to figure out what it is that we each individually want to pursue after this. We really hope you guys continue to support us individually.'

Elana Caceres concluded with a message for their fans. 'Your support has meant everything. It has been such a privilege and an honor to share our music with you and our videos and just our friendship.

'We love you guys, and thank you for the most incredible five years. We love you so much, thank you for being the best fans,' said Caceres as they added in unison, 'We love you!'

Boys World was formed in 2019 after each member was discovered on social media, and their name was meant to be an anagram for 'best of yourself.'

The group released their debut single 'Girlfriends' in October 2020, with their first EP While You Were Out dropping in April 2021.
